CathSense® ICCP for underwater hull protection
CathSense® ICCP system (Impressed Current Cathodic Protection) is designed to give predictable corrosion protection and low maintenance cost for 15-25 years.
CathFlow® antifouling system
MGPS – Marine Growth Prevention System
ICAF – Impressed Current Anti Fouling
CathFlow® electrolytic antifouling supresses corrosion and prevents mussels, barnacles and similar organisms from establishing in seawater systems.
Ultrasonic antifouling
Ultrasonic antifouling is meant to reduce fouling on underwater structures, by using small-scale acoustic cavitation to destroy and discourage attachment of algae and other single-celled organisms.
Sacrificial anodes
Sacrificial anodes in zinc or aluminium designed for preventing corrosion on underwater hull and in tanks.
Shaft grounding
Earthing the propeller shaft to the ship’s hull prevents corrosion and spark erosion in the shaft bearings and gearboxes. The earthing is provided by spring loaded silver graphite brushes, and monitored by a compact mV meter.
