Dredging Control System

Dredging control system model SB-WCX-III consists of hardware such as computer, PLC, actuating control mechanism, Ethernet, field bus network, switches, sensors (transmitters), conversion devices and various consoles and control cabinets.

The system consists of a combination of separate subsystems— consisting of several independent monitoring devices or manipulation devices such as dredging integrated control system, dredging positioning system, cabin monitoring and alarm system, video surveillance system, and computer network system.

The system organically unites each separate subsystems, communicate and coordinate with each other, improving the overall performance of the system. Meanwhile, each subsystem is relatively independent in hardware and basic functions, realizing decentralized control and centralized control, which improves the overall performance of the system on the basis of ensuring the safety of the whole system and is applicable to the integrated monitoring and control of winch suction and rake suction dredger.

Dredging Positioning System

Dredging Positioning System, through RS-485 or RS-422, RS-232 communication interface, read the information of ship’s bearing, heading, draft, rake arm or reamer position from DGPS, electric compass, depth sounder, AIS, dredging integrated control system and other peripheral equipment, and display it vividly on the computer screen in real time through visual graphics.

The use of dredging positioning system can improve the construction accuracy of dredging vessels and guide and check the construction effect by real-time section display and color block water depth map display and real-time change.
