Additional actions can also be programmed, such as shutting down the power supply, turning on the extractor fans, and sending emergency calls.
Gas Detector - Gas Point sensors
Gas Point is a line of gas detectors for flammable gases, toxic gases (in ppm), volatile organic compounds, and oxygen monitoring. The gas sensors are designed for industrial applications and are made with rugged components and housings, suitable for use in harsh conditions.
These are stand-alone devices: they are easily installed in various situations and are easily replaceable. The sensors are extremely versatile and can be configured according to specific needs. An internal menu allows you to set the alarm and pre-alarm thresholds and perform service operations. Alarms are signaled via the LED or the color LCD display in models with glass housings.
Available models for the Gas Point sensor
The Gas Detector is available in 3 versions:
- ATEX certified Gas Detector (Gas Point) Basic sensor in blind case, with 4-20mA analog output and internal display for internal service operations,
- Gas Detector (Gas Point) Safe Zone sensor with display and real-time measurement visualization, for installation in a safe area,
- Gas Detector (Gas Point) PLUS sensor with display and real-time measurement display, and the option to add a relay board. It is also suitable for use in ATEX-classified areas.
Gas Point detectors are compatible with the Explorer Gas Screen 40 and other control units in the Explorer line. They can also be integrated with custom detection systems and any acquisition and reporting control unit that accepts a 4-20mA signal.
The Explorer Gas Screen 40 gas detection controller
Gas Screen 40 is an innovative gas detector controller for the detection of hazardous gases. It displays four 4-20mA signals from four gas sensors. It is used to monitor flammable gases, toxic gases (in ppm), oxygen, and volatile organic compounds in a variety of applications: from the naval sector to petrochemical and gas extraction plants, from metallurgical plants to steel mills, from production lines to the food and pharmaceutical industries. The gas detector controller is extremely versatile: it allows for the connection of all types of available gas sensors. The input terminal block accepts 0-20 mA or volt signals (0-5 V, 0-10 V). This allows for the management of sensors with different input logics. It is also possible to connect various types of sensors to monitor temperature, humidity, and pressure.
Explorer 4: 4-channel rack-mount controller
Explorer 4 is a multi-channel controller that combines up to 4 acquisition channels in a single rack. The system is designed for continuous monitoring of gases and other parameters, with control of the corresponding alarms. Everything is contained in a single rack for easy panel installation. For monitoring a larger number of points, 8- or 16-channel racks are available. Each independent channel is equipped with 3 output relays.
